Gaeun Byeon

Gaeun Byeon is dedicated to advancing our understanding of cellular interactions and molecular mechanisms within complex tissues through the application of single-cell sequencing data and spatial transcriptomics data. With a primary focus on organ transplantation and brain circuitry, Gaeun's current research integrates multi-omic data to examine how specific cellular environments drive functional outcomes. Her interdisciplinary collaborations and multi-dimensional approach enable her to explore both immune and neural systems with a fresh perspective, uncovering insights relevant to both transplant science and neurobiology.가은은 단일세포 시퀀싱 데이터와 공간 전사체 데이터를 활용하여 복잡한 조직 내 세포 간 상호작용과 분자 기전에 대한 이해를 발전시키는 데 전념하고 있습니다. 장기 이식과 뇌 회로를 주요 연구 분야로 삼아, 다중 오믹스 데이터를 통합하여 특정 세포 환경이 기능적 결과를 어떻게 유도하는지를 분석하고 있습니다. 학제 간 협력과 다차원적 접근을 통해 면역 및 신경 시스템을 새로운 관점에서 탐구하며, 이식 과학과 신경생물학 양쪽에 의미 있는 통찰을 도출하고 있습니다.
