Minwoo worked as a bioinformatician in An Lab, where he co-developed CWAS-Plus, an advanced framework for estimating category-wide association of rare noncoding variation from whole-genome sequencing data with cell-type-specific functional data. As a co-first author (Kim Y✻, Jeong M✻ et al., Briefings in Bioinformatics, 2024), he substantially contributed to expanding the original CWAS methodology introduced by Werling et al.
